Mashstroy JSC was founded in 1947 from the existing small craft workshops for metal working.
Since then its product range has varied a lot. Important facts are:
* from the foundation till 1962, Mashstroy JSC was specialized in the production of a variety of wood-processing machines and handling
equipment;
* in 1952 the company started the manufacture of universal metalworking lathes;
* in 1962 apart from the production of universa l lathes started the production of metal-cutting machines with kinematic programmable control under a Swedish license, which continued till 1988.
The first CNC metal-cutting machines were produced in cooperation with Japanese specialists in 1982.
With the aim of entering new markets the product range of the universal lathes was diversified after 1992.
Mashstroy JSC has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1997.
